Drake spluttered under the hot water and soap and finally shook his head, spraying her with water and a growl of annoyance. Before an evil grin crossed his face and he pulled her into the water with him, splashing her and tickling her wildly. "My feelings exactly my love- especially when you are wet and at my mercy- as you so often are!" He rinsed his hair and leaped from the bath, grabbing a towel and the ale mug and cackling contentedly as he swigged the last of it.

Annalisse was not expecting to be joining her husband so abruptly so got a mouthful of bath water. She sputtered and gasped, her shift soaked straight through. But by the time she recovered from the shock, she was alone again in the bathwater, Drake having escaped. "A lot of thanks I get! Off to bed with you scamp!" she said, splashing water at his feet and clamouring to get out of the water with what was left of her dignity.

Drake chuckled at her thrashing and promptly swept her up with one arm and plonked her down on the floor, tossing a towel at her, unfortunately it landed on her face. He paled, swore and ran for the bedroom, throwing on his bed shirt, diving under the covers and pretending to snore loudly.

A growl of frustration and outrage came from his wife as she was plonked down and treated like an animal. This was his love? Oh, Annalisse would put up with a lot, but she would not be so badly treated. Her love for him seemed to douse the outrage a bit, but she stormed into his bedroom stark naked, having stripped off her soaked shift. "Drake Raleigh, I know you are not asleep..." she barked at him, pulling the covers from the bed.

He cracked open one eye and looked up at her sheepishly, but then he saw was she was wearing- or rather what she was not wearing and sat straight up in bed chuckling, "I am now!" He placed his hands around her waist and buried his head against her stomach. "You feel like home," he murmured softly, kissing her soft skin.

All the outrage seeped out of her at his tender comment, vocalizing what she had felt when he had come back to her only an hour earlier. Her hand moved to stroke his hair, spending a few moments of silence to let her heart sing. She did love him, very much... Then, Annalisse was pushing him back on the bed and crawling atop him like a panther on the prowl. "You are home for good now... let me give you a proper welcome..." there was a twinkle in her eye as she leaned down to kiss her wicked smuggler of a husband.
