The year is 1814, Napoleon is master of Europe, yet England still holds out. Wars are fought on sea- oceans are now battlefields. Nelson's fleet and Wellington's army challenge the emperor's power and fight back against his greedy regime. There are losses and victories on both sides and yet no one knows yet who will win. Meanwhile, in England, Jane Austen is writing, the Prince Regent reigns and the Brighton Pavillion is being built. Our site is based around the city of Bath, one of the most fashionable in England at the time, here people come to take the water, which is believed to be good for the health, to dance in Queens Square, attend the assembly rooms for concerts and soirees, flirt with the local army and navy officers who both have HQs in the city and bathe in the ancient Roman Baths. Our site is based around the lives of the people living in Bath during the Napoleonic Wars. Help us recreate that era of greatness and Romance.
