Entrance Hall The entrance hall is made of the same grey stone as the exterior. The ceiling is covered in black ebony beams that criss cross elaborately. There are some tall slanted stained glass windows in the walls and wooden chandelabras hang from the ceiling. There are several tapestries on the walls and the odd wooden chest with bowls of fruit on them.
The Front Parlour It has cream stone walls and a few rich green and red tapestries decorate the walls. The windows are framed with heavy forest coloured draps and several low settles are covered in blankets and cushions surround the fire place. The floor is stone as well, and is covered with a few faded persian rugs.
The Ante Chamber The ante chamber has dark wooden paneling over the walls and a creamy ceiling carved to depict a medieval hunting scene. There are some wall hangings and stuffed animal heads as hunting trophies, along with some guns on display above the fire place. The room is sparsely furnished, there is a massive oaken table in the center with a silver candle holder on it, surrounded by a few chairs.

The Dining Hall The dining hall has stone walls and the same criss-crossed roof beams as the entrance hall has. There are medieval styled tapestries over the walls and an enormous fireplace along the right wall. The room is very long and narrow and a huge table stands at the centre, which can sit about fifty people easily. The chairs are exquisitely carved mahogany and oak and the floor is covered in a few fur rugs.

Private Sitting Room This is the parlour that Sir Domanic had decorated for his wife. It has ice blue wallpaper embossed with flowers and ferns with white wainscoating. It has dark wood flooring with white woven rug. The parlour contains chaises and armchairs in white lilac around a small white and silver fire place. Above which hangs one of Lady Emmaline's watercolors, there are more of her paintings and sketches in small silver frames up around the room.A small silver candelabra hangs from the ceiling. There is a small white writing desk in one corner with a matching chair with an ice blue cushion of silk on it. On the desk is a silver casket containing her writing implements. There is some lilac scented paper next to it, and a vase containing blue, white and purple daisies. There are several vases around the room containing blue and purple wildflowers, and the ivory curtains at the window are embroidered with the palest blue daisies.
Private dining room The private dining room has rich oaken paneling on the walls and some brightly coloured tapestries hanging from them. The curtains are a warm apple red velvet and the windows over look the west side of the park. There is a large round table in the middle covered in a wine and amber coloured table cloth if Indian linen and surrounded by chairs covered in red and green and amber embroidered velvet cushions. There is a brass candelabra hanging from the ceiling and a large floor to ceiling fire place with a small grate and a lot of embellished decorations. The floor is covered in a rich red persian carpet. The room has a cheerful, comfortable family atmosphere.
The Study The study is also the library and is Sir Domanic's favourite retreat. It has forest green painted walls with white gothic steepled wooden carving separating the paneling, which matches the book cases of which there are twenty five. There are some rich forest green velvet curtains at the windows which overlook the south view of the park and there are paintings of some of his ancestors- about twelve, decorate the walls. His dark pine desk and huge green arm chair are at the far end of the room in front of a large fire place. In front of the desk are a few faded green couches and a small chess table with two high back chairs sitting opposite each other across the chess board.
The Master Bedchamber The Master Bedchamer has rich cobalt blue walls with a magnificently patterned ceiling depicting golden suns, moons and stars resting on silver clouds hanging over bronze mountains. The four poster bed in the centre of the room is on a small raised dias and has rich golden velvet curtains woven with dark blue and indigo threads to shape ferns and thistles. The bed coverings are a deep periwinkle blue covered in a tan coloured fur rug. There is a large chest in one corner on top of which is a candle in a silver holder and a silver jug and basin for washing in. There is a mahogany fire place in one corner, wrought with gold and above is a portrait of Lady Emmaline. There is a polar bear skin rug on the floor and an elaborately carved wardrobe next to the windows that over look the south view of the park and are surrounded by amber velvet curtains.

Lady Emmaline's Bedchamber Emmaline's bedchamber was decorated to suit her childhood home of India by her loving and devoted husband. The room is quite a beautiful and comfortable, done up in dramatic silks and satins. The decor boasts bright shades of reds, oranges, purples, and yellows in swirling and intricate designs. The walls are a neutral white but covered in printed scarves and hangings depicting the mystic East. The only seating area is overstuffed brilliantly-coloured cushions on the red and gold persian rug in front of the fireplace. A large jeweled sculpture of Buddha sits by the door. Her bed is also draped in colourful gauze and the canopy is reminscent of a jeweled ivory temple. Her dressing room with a large marble bath tub jets off of her chambers.
The Nursery The nursery has pale cream- magnolia walls with yellow silk curtains at the window held up with apple green bows. The floor is covered in a matching green carpet and there is a pine chest at one end of the room containing baby clothes, next to it is another one, equally ornately carved filled with toys. There is a huge cradle in the centre of the room surrounded by lacey white curtains. There is a book shelf opposite this and next to it is a green velvet rocking chair with a primrose silk cushion on it. There is a lamb's fleece rug on the floor.

The Guest Bedchambers There are four guest bedchambers, two for ladies, and two for gentlemen. The ladies' rooms are decorated in pale shades of lavender, lilac and cream whilst the men's are in hunter green and deep wine red. All overlook the south view of the park.
The Grounds The park around Southset Abbey covers about twenty two acres. It contains a wild flower garden, a herb garden, a large lily pond with a small Grecian Temple on the other side, an elm tree grove , a conifer and silver birch spinney and some formal lawns and flower gardens.
