Georgianna gave a start as she felt him stir and looked up, her breasts heaving with emotion and her breath coming out in short bursts because of her sudden passionate sobbing fit. She saw the sweat on his brow and wept even more, but his words stopped her, completely stunned she asked dumbly, "W-what did you say?"

Cavan slowly opened his eyes to see her at his bedside,from the look of it--she had been sobbing. Cavan's heart frowned. Cavan then whispered,"You heard me--marry me.."Cavan's eyes then waited for her stab of rejection,he continued,"Georgianna,while in my delirious state,I had a dream--well,a few dreams. They seemed to show me a sign--of something I wasn't aware of. My love for you--I realize that I love you with all of my heart,with all my soul--"

Georgianna was so stunned at his words that at first she didn't know what to say then she burst into tears once more as she it dawned on her that she loved him as well, and had done ever since he had begun chasing her and how she didn't want a conventional suitor or the fact that she didn't care about what the gossips would say about an 'innocent debutante' marrying a known rake and scoundrel. "And I love you too," she said when she finally found her voice again, "I'm so sorry for the way I've treated you over the past months, Cavan, I really am, and I will marry you, if you still want me after the appalling way I've behaved."

Cavan's heart swelled with infinite love for Georgianna--after all those months,those so many months ago that he had first chased her--she admitted that she loved him and Cavan knew he must have been so foolish as to be the womanizer when he first met her and he knew that his reputation would follow him for the rest of his days but he did not think it would matter since he had practically given up his reputation anyways. He had only one love and that was Georgianna. Cavan then whispered,"You are forgiven,Georgianna--I love you with all my heart and it swells even more with love that I know I want to marry you and love you for the rest of my life."

Georgianna took his hand in hers and squeezed it lovingly before she leaned over and kissed his forehead tenderly, his words making her heart ache within her. She murmured, "We will talk matters over more in the morning but right now you need some rest, sleep, my darling, and get your strength up." And she bad him good night with another kiss to his forehead and sent the doctor in to check on him before yawning and tumbling into her own bedroom and falling asleep fully dressed.

Cavan smiled gently at her,how he wished he was stronger as so he could playfully reach out towards her as if she was slipping from him just like within his dreams. But he mouthed to her,"Georgianna,I love you.."Cavan then laid his head on the back of his pillow,it was amazing to him--he had outlived death and if he did die,he would not be truely happy as he would not have found out his true feelings for his love and would not have admitted his love to her. His heart would have broken even in death.
